Doug T Will Be Hypnotizing Stardome’s Stage Sept. 2-7 and Sept. 9-14.

After touring as a stand-up comic for a few years Doug wanted a new way to create a better show and entertain more people. That is when he started studying hypnosis and all different types of ways to hypnotize people. Not only does he read and learn all he can about Hypnosis he also mentored under one of the best ever in the field of Stage Hypnosis. Dr. Jim Wand took Doug under his wing after seeing all his potential. He has toured with Dr. Jim Wand and learned as much as he can and still learns with each show.  Doug wanted to take Comedy Hypnosis to the next level by creating a show that is different from all of the rest. He adds in his quick wit and spot on impressions to make the show fun from beginning to end. His comedy background is a large part of this ability. He has toured and still tours with some of the big names in comedy. Some of the names include Pauly Shore, The Impractical Jokers from TruTV, Jennifer Coolidge (Stifler's Mom), Tim Wilson, Greg Hahn, MIke MacRae, and many more..... Working in some of the greatest theaters around the country has put him in front of thousands of people.  He also keeps his shows family friendly due to the large amount of corporate events and Colleges he works with. When asked about if volunteers on his show should be worried about coming on stage his response was simply " I treat the volunteers on stage the way I would want my wife and daughters treated, with respect and dignity! "  That is why Doug has become one of the most requested in the nation for corporate events, Colleges and High Schools.

One of the Nation's Favorite Comedians, Bruce Bruce is Coming to Stardome Aug. 29-31!

Bruce Bruce is a name synonymous with keeping audiences rolling with laughter thanks to his captivating improv skills and larger than life comedic style. Bruce’s steady style of comedy has been showcased across the country, and he has been entertaining audiences young and old, and of all backgrounds, for years. His wit, spontaneity and dazzling personality set him apart from other standup comedians. Although Bruce is known for his adult comedy, he prides himself on not using vulgarity to win a laugh, and is no stranger is winning over new audiences with every appearance he makes. From his role as host for two seasons of BET’s “Comic View” to his many appearances on TV and film, Bruce is clearly a comedian that has found his mark in the business. Bruce headlined the 2008 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, leaving the audiences north of the border in stitches. On the feature film front, Bruce made a cameo in the HBO Films feature “Idlewild,” appeared in the Larry the Cable Guy-starrer “Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector,” with Ice Cube in Columbia Pictures’ “XXX: State of the Union” and in the Screen Gems comedy “Think Like a Man.” He will also be appearing in the upcoming Chris Rock directed “Finally Famous.”

Bruce is one of the nation’s favorite standup comedians and can currently be seen on the national Top Shelf Comedy Tour and in selected clubs. In addition to standup comedy, film and TV, Bruce Bruce can also add author to his list of credits. Bruce recently released his first book “Baby James Brown” from Penguin Publishing. Within these pages you will find hilarious stories from his childhood and learn more about what makes Bruce Bruce one of the most popular comedians in the business today.

Bruce’s comedy can actually be traced back to when he was working as a chef directly out of high school. He would entertain his customers with his humor while cooking up mean BBQ dishes. Bruce also worked as a Frito-Lays salesman and did everything from shelf placement to performing his comedy sets during their corporate meetings. Eventually, Bruce brought his comedy routine to the Comedy Act Theater in Atlanta and was an instant hit. When BET’s Coast to Coast came to town searching for new and talented stand-up comedians, Bruce would pursue the opportunity to appear on the show and would incessantly audition at each club in the area.

Bruce’s bigger than life personality has transcended his personality onto the music video scene as well. He has made guest appearances in videos with Ludacris and the Ying Yang Twins (after being named in their hit song “Salt Shaker”). He appeared in the monstrous 1996 summer hit “Come On Ride the Train (Ride It)” by Quad City DJs and can also be seen in Outkast’s music video “So Fresh, So Clean.” Most recently, Bruce appears with Anthony Anderson in the KEM music video, “You’re On My Mind.”

You can currently find Bruce on the big screen in the upcoming “Finally Famous,” also starring with Anthony Anderson in the music video by KEM, “You’re On My Mind,” his recent DVD release, “Losin’ It: Live from Boston,” and in constant reruns of “Comic View” on BET.

Marc Ryan will be at the Stardome Comedy Club Aug. 19-24!

You may recognize Marc from the two TV series he currently host. SMOKED airs on Destination America and Marc and Todd’s Crazy Clips airs on Outdoor Channel throughout 2013. Marc’s had numerous television appearances over his career as a Comedian, Host and Actor. Most recently Marc hosted the Outdoor Channel series “Mudslingers” (2011), and as co-host of season one of the HDNet show “Drinking Made Easy (2010) now airing on AXS TV. Marc appeared on the hit CW sit-com “The Parkers”. He went on to appear on the TBS special “Pit Stop Comedy”, CBS’s “Star Search”, CMT’s “Greatest Redneck Moments”, and “Three Sheets” on Spike TV.

HBO, BET, and Comedy Central comedian, Earthquake is shaking things up at Stardome August 15-17!

Nathaniel Stroman, best known as "Earthquake", is an actor, voice artist, and comedian. He currently hosts his own radio show on WBLS. Earthquake performed a half-hour HBO special as part of the series One Night Stand, which first aired on August 26, 2005. He also had a small role in Kevin Smith's film Clerks II, and a supporting role in the film The Longshots. He had a recurring role as Chris' Uncle Mike, on Everybody Hates Chris. He voiced Root the Rooster in the 2006 CGI film, Barnyard and in the video game of the same title, and continues to do so on the TV series spinoff, Back at the Barnyard.

In the early 1990s, Earthquake started off doing gigs in small clubs in Atlanta and other local areas. By 1993 he was able to book shows at the Uptown Comedy Corner in Atlanta's vibrant Buckhead entertainment district. Later he opened a club of his own, Earthquake's Comedy Corner II in Atlanta. In 1997, Earthquake got his national break when he was asked to join the Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam Tour. Later in 2005, Earthquake did his most memorable stand-up performance in About Got Damm Time and Jamie Foxx's Comedy Central special Laffapalooza.

Earthquake started off in radio contributing every Tuesday and Thursday on The Steve Harvey Morning Show and has been known to fill-in as a personality while Steve Harvey was on vacation. Since 2013, Quake has been part of 107.5 WBLS as a full-time radio personality weekdays from 3pm to 7pm with Déjà Vu.

Earthquake will be performing at the Stardome Comedy Club August 15-17.

Actor & Comedian Jimmy Shubert Comes to the Stardome August 1-3

Jimmy Shubert has built an impressive resume as an actor, both in film and on television. As a comedian, he is recognized as one of the busiest comedians working today, headlining A list comedy clubs, casinos and theaters across the country. His hour-long stand-up comedy special which just won top ten comedy DVD’s by Punchline Magazine, and it’s available on itunes!

“Alive N’ Kickin’” is a theatrical presentation of Shubert’s stand-up persona of a blue collar working man’s man. He combines the outlook of a modern-day Archie Bunker with an utterly real world sensibility to create signature bits on Starbucks, airport security, relationships and the dumbing down of America. – soon to be seen on a premium cable network.

In television, Shubert is known for his recurring role on “King of Queens” for five years and several appearances on “Entourage”. Jimmy has a wide range as an actor and has played everything from a prison guard in a hostage crisis to a murder victim on “Monk.” He’s worked with such marquee names as Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Katie Holmes, Robin Williams. Kinison liked Shubert’s cockeyed chutzpah and included him as one of the original “Outlaws of Comedy” which he toured with for five years, playing major casinos in Las Vegas and other venues like the Universal Amphitheater in front of audiences as large as 6,500 people. In 1997, after a well-recognized performance at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, he was spotted by the late Brandon Tartikoff, who signed Jimmy to a holding deal to develop a pilot sitcom for him to star in at 20th Century Fox, which led to another holding deal and then finally a Pilot.
Jimmy’s comedy routine is usually performed with an observational point of view, in comedic short-story form, and typically focuses on poking fun at pop culture. As AllMusic.com put it, “His confidence and lucid delivery enhances his humor, making even his most perverse moments hilarious.”

Rod Man from Last Comic Standing is Hitting Stardome's Stage July 25-27!

Comedian Rod Man is truly a gem in the World of Standup Comedy today. His unique delivery and voice capture the attention of audiences. Throw in his laid back style, southern charm, wit, and ability to find the funny in everyday life, and you have the ingredients for a future Comedy Star in the making.

Rod Man got hooked on comedy at a young age. He signed up for "open mic" nights at Atlanta's Uptown Comedy Club, hosted by the hilarious Earthquake. "Uptown was the place to be on Tuesday nights. The place was packed. You never knew who would stop in and do a guest spot. And you never really knew when you were going to hit the stage, because the list meant absolutely nothing to Earthquake."
